Entrepreneursclub

Have you ever had an idea and thought: I should really do something with this? Maybe you have dreamt of one day starting your own business, or organizing a super fun festival or event, or even launching your own clothing brand. Perhaps you’ve been inspired to launch a fundraising campaign for a good cause. If so, then you’ve reached the right place!

The Entrepreneurs Club was founded to assist you in turning  your ideas into reality. Below, we describe our motivation and explain who we are, what we offer, and how the program works.

tHE CLUB

About Us

The Entrepreneurs Club is a flagship initiative of the Connect5 Foundation. Connect5 invests in young people by giving them opportunities to develop themselves and to identify and embrace their talents. The realisation of this mission is made possible through the dedication of sponsors and the support of grants and donations. The Entrepreneurs Club provides a platform for engagement in entrepreneurship and supports participants in the following three key areas.

Knowledge Sharing via experienced professionals from diverse sectors including the business world. These experts host entrepreneurship sessions, where they share their knowledge regarding various aspects of entrepreneurship.

Thanks to grants and sponsorships, participation in the Entrepreneurs Club is completely free. In addition, a project fund (start-up capital) is available to help provide an initial financial foundation for participant initiatives.

Each project is paired with a mentor. This professional serves as a sounding board and provides guidance throughout the planning and execution of the project.

Program Structure

Are you interested in joining? Then plan your intake via this link. Your journey begins with a no-obligatory introduction conversation. During this conversation, we will get to know each other, answer your questions, and explain the Entrepreneurs Club in more detail. This gives you the opportunity to determine whether the program is a good fit for you. At the same time, it helps us assess whether we believe you would benefit from participating. See the Practical Information section below.

Following a successful intake, your Entrepreneurs Club journey officially begins. Together with fellow participants, mentors, and organizers, you will attend the first group meeting. During this session, you will receive:

  • Information about the program
  • Meeting dates
  • Preparatory assignments
  • Access to the online community platform

These 6 bi-weekly sessions are led by experienced professionals and cover different aspects of entrepreneurship. The professionals base their experience on real-life experience, not theory, and are willing to share their successes and failures. These workshops provide the foundation for developing and turning your idea into a reality.

The sessions take place on Tuesday evenings from 19.30-21.30 at Connect5. So save the date!

  1. Tuesday September 29: KICK-OFF & INTRODUCTION
  2. Tuesday October 13: FROM IDEA TO CONCEPT
  3. Tuesday October 27: BUSINESS PLAN & TEAM FORMATION
  4. Tuesday November 10: MARKETING & PRESENTATIONS
  5. Tuesday November 24: FUNDRAISING & INVESTMENTS
  6. Tuesday December 8: LET’S GET STARTED!

Once you have gained the necessary knowledge, it is time to define, confirm and start your project. You may choose to work independently or form a team with other participants. Each project receives support from a dedicated mentor who will help guide you through the process towards project execution.

Examples of projects include:

  • Launching a start-up
  • Creating a crowdfunding campaign for a charity
  • Creating your own clothing brand
  • Organizing and delivering workshops
  • Developing an app
  • Running your own market stall
  • Building a business around your music career
  • Organizing an event
  • And much more…

At the end of the program, you will evaluate your project and your journey together with your mentor and any team members. You will then present your project and experiences to the other participants. A network event will be organized to stimulate exchange of hands-on knowledge among participants and professionals who are engaged in the program.

You will also have the opportunity to make the decision to remain engaged with the Entrepreneurs Club and further develop your project towards the next stage. The opportunity to decide future career paths will be available.

Practical

Information

  • The first Entrepreneurs Club cycle will start in September 2026.
  • The first six meetings take place bi-weekly on Tuesday evenings starting on 15 September 2026, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM at Connect5 (joining via video call is also possible if needed).
  • The development and execution of projects will take place in the first half of 2027.
  • Participants are generally between 15 and 25 years old.
  • The Entrepreneurs Club is organized by Connect5 Foundation in Meerssen.
  • In-person meetings take place at Markt 5, Meerssen, unless otherwise communicated.
  • A profit-sharing agreement is established for each project to ensure that participating young entrepreneurs benefit directly from the results of their efforts.
  • Participation is completely free of charge.
